Want specifics? Here's what I've tried: Sonata (only gives me a headache); St. John's Wort (kinda works, but only if I don't take it regularly); Melatonin (no effect at all); various teas (most of them have Valerian, which I've discovered wakes me up); various and sundry low-level antidepressants (if I take a dose high enough to make me sleepy, I'm groggy for half the next day); Ambien (works great, but I can't take it too often); Tylenol PM (works on mild-insomnia nights); and probably a few more I can't think of right at the moment.
